Staff Engineer - DevX

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end developer experience for ~80 engineers: CI, build tooling, codebase health
• Lead goal to double R&D output per engineer; define what "faster" means and measure it
• Ship hands-on contributions across languages/services and make low-risk, high-leverage changes in
• Build credibility with the engineering team, remove roadblocks, and align teams to your ideas
• Advance agentic coding tooling: evaluate, roll out, measure impact, raise the bar for quality

🎯 Requirements

• Strong software engineering background; still writing code
• Experience in a platform engineering organization or leading AI and tooling initiatives
• Proven track record of making engineering teams faster with clear rationale
• Exposure to scale and problems that appear as systems/teams grow
• Fluency with agentic coding tools and judgement on when to trust/correct/override them
• Excellent ability to lead and influence without micromanaging; fast buy-in and good judgement
