Software Development Engineer II – Back-End (Mission-Focused | ArcGIS)

📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs
• Build backend systems for geospatial processing and real-time analytics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to run in secure, distributed environments
• Support deployments across cloud-native and on-prem environments
• Improve reliability and performance through API design, testing, and observability
• Develop connectors and ingestion pipelines across data sources

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of backend software engineering
• Backend services using Python, JavaScript/Node.js, and Java
• REST APIs and service-based architecture experience
• Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise or similar geospatial platforms
• Familiar with geoprocessing workflows and automation
• Experience in Docker, Kubernetes, or similar
