📋 Description
- Administer SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases end to end with focus on performance and reliability.
- Plan and test backup, replication, DR, and high availability for production environments.
- Manage security, access control, and auditing; monitor capacity and allocate resources.
- Upgrade database versions, patching, and configuration tuning; routine maintenance to sustain
- Monitor health and performance; address issues proactively and optimize cloud costs.
- Lead or participate in cloud migrations, ensuring security, resiliency, and recoverability during

- BA/BS in Computer Science/IT or related field; 5+ years data ops or DBA experience (MS with 3+
- Hands-on DBA experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL, including performance tuning
- Advanced SQL/T-SQL; scripting (Python or PowerShell) for automation.
- Ability to design/implement monitoring for DB health, performance, and capacity; experience with
- Understanding of cloud cost awareness and optimizing Azure spend; mentoring junior engineers.
