Senior Back End Engineer – Sportsbook

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services for a new Sportsbook platform.
• Contribute to end-to-end development lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to translate needs into specs.
• Lead architectural discussions to improve scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Design and implement large-scale distributed systems for a growing gaming platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across backend services and production environments.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience building and launching a Sports betting app from scratch.
• 7+ years of professional software development with strong Java and/or Kotlin and Spring.
• Experience designing large-scale distributed backend systems.
• Strong understanding of backend architecture, scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud environments.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
