📋 Description

• Own the key architectural decisions for Canva’s hybrid mobile platform across React Native, iOS and
• Turn the architecture into shipped code with foundations for performance and reliability
• Lead Staff and Senior engineers through the migration to a new platform
• Scale adoption across Canva by partnering with major product teams
• Serve as a technical voice on mobile architecture across 800+ frontend engineers
• Operate with hands-on depth to solve hard implementation challenges

🎯 Requirements

• Cross-platform architecture at scale with React Native, React and/or Flutter or Kotlin Multiplatform
• Experience migrating mature mobile products onto new architectures while live
• Principal-level technical leadership with broad influence across teams
• Strong platform and mobile runtime knowledge, native boundaries and performance profiling
• Deep fundamentals in data structures, complexity, and system trade-offs
• iOS and Android fundamentals with shared abstractions where appropriate
