Product Development Engineer - Mass Timber Hardware

📋 Description

• Develop new structural connection hardware for mass timber
• Take concepts from definition through prototyping and validation
• Translate market needs and constraints into viable concepts
• Create CAD models and drawings for concepts
• Perform testing, fixture setup, and data collection
• Lead test planning and validation activities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Timber, Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or EIT with near-term P.Eng. path
• 3–8 years of engineering or product development experience
• Strong mechanics and structural behavior understanding
• Experience with timber engineering and mass timber products
• Experience with physical testing, prototyping, and product validation
