Intermediate Construction Surveyor

📋 Description

• Plan and coordinate surveying and drafting for heavy civil projects in Canada.
• Conduct field surveys to support construction activities, including modeling and layout.
• Complete as-built surveys and analyze data for docs and progress claims.
• Perform quantity calculations for project reporting.
• Prepare and maintain drawings for planning, interim deliverables, close-out docs.
• Maintain survey records, field docs, and project deliverables.

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree or college diploma in surveying, geomatics, construction, or related.
• At least 3 years of professional surveying experience, preferably in construction/heavy civil.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical docs.
• Hands-on DGPS (e.g., Trimble R12), Total Station (e.g., SX10), and drone (e.g., Phantom 4 Pro)
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation; commitment to safe practices.
