Staff Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead architecture efforts for Payoneer’s platform modernization.
• Own end-to-end migrations, shared infrastructure, and tooling to enable product teams to move
• Operate as a platform-level force multiplier, not a single feature team.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in backend engineering in Node.js with production experience.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, messaging, caching, and microservice patterns.
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and migration programs.
• Proven track record of architectural decisions with cross-team impact.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) as
• Experience building or operating shared platform infrastructure consumed by multiple teams.
