Principal Systems Engineer, Communications Hardware

📋 Description

• Own system architecture across electrical, RF, mechanical, thermal, and power domains.
• Define/drive technical standards, architecture, and engineering processes for Axon 911 hardware.
• Collaborate with EE, RF, SW, and ME leads to align subsystem design and production readiness.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years hardware engineering experience with deep expertise in at least two of EE, RF, ME and
• Proven track record in system architecture and cross-disciplinary decisions for complex hardware.
• Experience bringing compact, battery-powered hardware from concept to mass production (EVT/DVT/PVT
• Deep experience in RF/antenna integration, power, thermal, EMI/EMC, shielding, enclosure design
• Experience developing system requirements and validation plans with familiarity of US/international
• Experience working with ODM/JDM or contract manufacturers and using hardware design tools
