Lead - Solutions Engineer (Verticals)

📋 Description

• Lead Solution Engineer for North America Vertical GTM in SLED, Higher Education, and Manufacturing.
• Partner with Account Execs to lead technical discovery and tailored solution strategies.
• Deliver demonstrations showing Freshworks ITSM/ITAM/ITOM/ESM and AI capabilities to stakeholders.
• Develop vertical-specific demos, narratives, and best practices for go-to-market.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success.
• Stay current on industry trends and customer needs to evangelize AI-first capabilities.

🎯 Requirements

• 6–8 years in Solution Engineering or similar pre-sales roles.
• Experience selling SaaS into verticals like SLED, Higher Education, or Manufacturing.
• Strong ability to map customer requirements to technical solutions and buying processes.
• Experience with ITSM/ITAM/ITOM/ESM or related platforms is preferred.
• Excellent presentation and storytelling; strong cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple opportunities.

🎁 Benefits

• Base salary range: $136,085 - $168,105 per year.
• Variable compensation eligible; compensation based on location and experience.
