Software Engineer - Infrastructure

📋 Description

• Join Mercury's Infrastructure team to build scalable, secure foundations for the org.
• Develop an "Infrastructure Platform" and AI-friendly tooling for engineers and agents.
• Ship infrastructure features, emphasize security by default and observability by default.
• Work with AWS services (EC2, RDS, OpenSearch, ECS, EKS), Terraform, GitHub/GitHub Actions
• Collaborate with product teams to enable AWS capabilities and improve production reliability.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with AWS.
• Interest in cloud-native open source tech and contributing upstream.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, filesystems, containers, and OS fundamentals.
• Experience writing detailed technical documentation, RFCs, and tech specs (2+ years).
