Lead Accountant, GL Accounting

📋 Description

• Lead month-end close processes, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Review junior staff work; provide training and feedback
• Cross-period analyses, actual-vs-forecast variance explanations
• Maintain US GAAP documentation and internal controls
• Prepare audit documents and support audits annually
• Collaborate with AP/AR/FB&A/Inventory/Operations and other teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Active CPA license
• Minimum 5 years in accounting (public + industry)
• Extensive month-end close experience: journal entries, reconciliations, support schedules
• Ability to own financial reporting and periodic tax filings
• Strong attention to detail and ownership; analytical/problem-solving
