Compliance & Surveillance Analyst

📋 Description

• Primary trade surveillance expert within Compliance overseeing framework and methodologies.
• Review, QA surveillance alerts and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Investigate escalations and provide reasoned recommendations to Head of Compliance.
• Lead MAR review and surveillance parameter/tolerance reviews; align with trading activity and
• Maintain and enhance surveillance policies and lead system enhancements as required.
• Coordinate and deliver compliance duties across the Mako Group, including training and advisory

🎯 Requirements

• 4–5 years of compliance experience in trading, market making or regulated financial services.
• Practical trade surveillance experience and knowledge of UK MAR and FCA expectations.
• Strong ability to operate independently, manage multiple jurisdictions and deliver on recurring
• Experience with process improvement, automation and technology in compliance.
• Degree level education; ICA certificate/diploma or equivalent preferred.
