Software Development Engineer II, Security Platform

📋 Description

• Own and deliver well-scoped software projects end-to-end, from design through production support.
• Partner across Security, Identity, Privacy, and Infrastructure on Twitch-wide initiatives.
• Drive operational excellence: observability, reliability, and operational readiness for critical
• Raise the engineering bar through design reviews, code reviews, and clear technical decisions
• Participate in retrospectives and technical discussions, influencing decisions through technical
• Work across systems handling security data ingestion, processing, and automation to support Twitch

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years building and operating production backend services with end-to-end ownership.
• Deep fluency in a modern language (Go, Java, Python, or similar).
• Hands-on AWS experience designing, deploying, and operating production services or pipelines, with
• Strong cross-team communication able to disagree with data and commit once decided.
• A track record of leading technical projects that span multiple services and parallel workstreams.
