Job Description
📋 Description
- Serve as in-house SME for Datadog's Service Management products—App Builder, Incident Management
- Partner with Field teams to provide hands-on technical and architectural guidance to enterprise
- Design on-call escalation policies, incident response workflows, and event correlation pipelines
- Create high-impact technical collateral to enable Field teams and customers
- Build proofs of concept and small-scale deployments to validate solutions in real customer
- Act as trusted advisor to Product Management, providing feedback from field experience
🎯 Requirements
- Strong engineering foundation with experience in incident response programs and automation
- Familiarity with distributed systems, observability concepts (tracing, metrics, logging)
- Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript; familiarity with low-code/no-code concepts
- Ability to operate in evolving, ambiguous technical domains
- Ability to translate cross-team context into reusable, scalable solutions
- Ownership from problem definition through implementation and measurable outcomes
