Staff Software Engineer - Sail Services

📋 Description

• Define cross-team technical strategy and multi-year backend roadmap for merchant-facing services
• Lead design and delivery of scalable backend services for Dashboard/mobile interfaces
• Build reusable platform capabilities for product teams to deploy and operate
• Partner with engineers, PMs, and designers to connect design system, SDKs, APIs, and backend
• Provide hands-on technical leadership via architecture reviews and mentorship

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years building complex, reliable APIs or distributed systems
• Proven track record leading design and delivery of large projects across teams
• Experience turning strategy into an executable roadmap
• Ability to communicate technical decisions with engineering, partners, and leadership
