Structural Professional Engineer

📋 Description

• PE of record for all steel connection design activities
• Review and approve steel connections, calculations, shop drawings
• Coordinate with EOR, client, GC, fabricator, subconsultants
• Review Tekla models and shop drawings for compliance
• Resolve RFIs and technical queries on structural steel
• Ensure building code and project spec compliance

🎯 Requirements

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in NY preferred
• Bachelors or Masters in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Eng
• Minimum 15 years structural engineering experience
• Minimum 10 years structural steel design experience
• Experience on large industrial, semiconductor, data center, or manufacturing projects
• Strong knowledge of AISC 360, AISC 341, AWS D1.1, ASCE 7, OSHA, LRFD/ASD
