- Investigate issues across the full Wayve AV stack in the Detectives team.
- Identify root causes, test solutions, and provide actionable insights to improve AV performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, software, model development, and operations teams.
- Develop automated workflows and investigation playbooks to speed up testing cycles.
- Use simulation and offline tools to reproduce and debug issues with minimal fleet resource use.
🎯 Requirements
- 3+ years working with complex robotic or autonomous vehicle systems.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving for robotics/AI issues.
- Systems-thinking across hardware, software, and models.
- Experience designing real-world experiments to validate hypotheses.
- Excellent communication to explain complex problems to varied audiences.
- Proficient in Python for data analysis and scripting for analytics use cases.
