Electrical Controls Apprentice

📋 Description

• Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel drawings.
• Build electrical control panels, distribution boards, MCCs, cabinets.
• Mount components: MCBs/MCCBs, contactors, relays, timers.
• Install and terminate cables; panel wiring with ferrules and crimping.
• Install trunking, DIN rail, terminals and internal components.
• Pre-delivery inspection and testing of panels; assist commissioning.

🎯 Requirements

• Ideally aged 18+ with four GCSEs incl Maths, English, Science.
• Interest in practical engineering or hands-on activities.
• Show initiative, be adaptable, eager to learn.
• Full UK driving licence; live within 45 minutes of Stamford site.
• Willing to travel to Leicester weekly for 42-month day-release training.
