mRNA Process Development Scientist

📋 Description

• Perform in vitro transcription (IVT) and purification (chromatography, tangential flow filtration)
• Perform analytical methods including capillary gel electrophoresis (CGE), Akta chromatography
• Process data and provide summaries to team members and key stakeholders.
• Prepare buffers, reagents, and stock solutions for process development activities per SOPs.
• Maintain updated lab notebook, order materials, maintain equipment, and support troubleshooting as
• Uphold lab safety to the highest level of standards.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in chemistry, chemical engineering, or biochemistry (or related field) with 1+ years relevant
• Experience with molecular biology and RNA biochemistry methods including IVT
• Experience with tangential flow filtration (TFF), CGE, Akta chromatography, HPLC, and ELISA.
• Experience with good documentation practices and electronic lab notebooks such as Benchling.
• Strong safety commitment, attention to detail, and time-management.
• Excellent communication, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
