Staff Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Architect and guide the design of scalable, long-lasting systems across multiple projects.
• Lead architecture reviews and design discussions, providing technical judgment.
• Unblock engineers by debugging hard issues and clearing roadblocks.
• Stay hands-on: ship production code regularly using AI tooling (Claude Code, Cursor, Claude).
• Mentor engineers to help them grow and enhance technical leadership.
• Identify systemic risks and drive cross-team investments to fix them.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building production software with architecture ownership.
• Experience leading system design for scalable, reliable infrastructure.
• Full-stack depth: backend (TypeScript, Node.js, Postgres, Redis, NATS) and/or UI (React, React
• Fluency with AI-paired delivery and ability to coach others on using it.
• Proven mentorship and strong, clear communication.
• Ability to influence across teams and translate business priorities into technical roadmaps.
