Senior Employment Counsel, Americas

📋 Description

• Senior employment counsel for Airwallex in the Americas
• Advises on full employee lifecycle, including hiring, contracts, performance, leaves, wage/hour
• Leads workplace investigations and sensitive employee matters end-to-end
• Drafts and maintains employment-related policies and templates
• Manages employment disputes and external legal spend
• Coordinates multi-jurisdiction advice across APAC, EMEA and the Americas

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. degree and active membership in at least one US state bar (CA, WA or NY preferred)
• 7+ years of employment law experience in law firm or in-house
• Experience coordinating advice across multiple jurisdictions
• Experience leading workplace investigations and managing disputes
• Ability to translate complex legal issues for non-legal audiences
• High motivation to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
