Privacy & AI Counsel

📋 Description

• Partner with product, AI, and HR teams to embed privacy and ethical AI into Axon’s products and
• Advise on privacy issues for body-worn cameras, SaaS platforms, ML models, and global privacy
• Guide incident response and remediation with stakeholders across geographies.
• Support cross-border data transfers, DPAs, DSARs, and third-party reviews.
• Collaborate with existing privacy counsel to build scalable privacy and AI processes.

🎯 Requirements

• US state bar in good standing; JD admitted to practice law.
• Minimum 3 years in privacy or data protection law; tech/SaaS/AI experience preferred.
• Experience with global privacy regulations (GDPR, US state laws, PIPEDA, LGPD).
• Expertise drafting/implementing DPAs, cross-border transfers, and cross-functional privacy programs.
• Ability to distill ambiguity, collaborate across teams, and uphold Axon’s Win Right value.
• Comfort applying AI tools and prompts to improve operations.
