📋 Description

• Own the architecture of the real-time, cross-asset risk and margin engine.
• Design low-latency, high-throughput risk systems for a growing trading platform.
• Drive reliability with SLOs, observability, and incident response for risk-critical systems.
• Set the technical bar through code, design reviews, and debt reduction.
• Mentor engineers and reduce single-point-of-failure risk across teams.
• Partner with Product, Trading, Financing/Credit Risk, Security and Compliance on roadmaps.

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on architect for 24/7 risk systems processing billions daily.
• Extensive backend engineering ownership of distributed systems.
• Cross-asset risk system experience with real-time evaluation at scale.
• Deep Java expertise and high-throughput messaging (Aeron, SBE) for event-driven systems.
• Experience with multifactor and borrow risk, margin, or clearing in regulated environments.
• End-to-end project delivery: scoping, architecture, implementation, monitoring.
