Backend Engineer

📋 Description

• Build and maintain production-ready API integrations and connectors (Box, HubSpot; later Graph
• Implement reliable authentication and integration patterns (OAuth, webhooks, pagination, rate
• Design queue-driven, stateful, replayable workers and background jobs.
• Develop a mailer service with PDF attachments, structured logging, retries, delivery checks
• Design DB schemas and perform safe migrations (PostgreSQL or similar).
• Implement audit events, observability, correlation IDs across distributed processes.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong backend track record; proficient in Python, Node.js, Go, or equivalent.
• Experience building/maintaining production API integrations (OAuth, webhooks, pagination, rate
• Relational DB expertise: schema design, data persistence, safe migrations.
• Testing mindset with contract, integration, unit, and/or end-to-end tests.
• Experience with asynchronous/queue-based/event-driven systems and background workers.
• Knowledge of reliability engineering: idempotency, retries, replayability, deduplication
