AI Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Lead the AI engineering team building and operating Five9's internal AI solutions
• Hands-on work: ~30% of time coding and reviewing Claude-based projects
• Partner with architects, program managers, and enablement teams to ship secure, scalable AI features

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or related field
• 8+ years in software or AI engineering; 2+ years in a leadership role
• Hands-on Claude experience (Claude Code, Claude API, or agent tooling)
• Cloud-native delivery fundamentals: Git, test automation, CI/CD, Google Cloud
• Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), containers/orchestration, MLOps/LLMOps basics
• Strong APIs, data-management practices, and cross-functional collaboration
