📋 Description
- Lead synthetic organic chemistry work in a research setting
- Improve yields, reproducibility, scale-up operations
- Deliver projects on time, within budget and spec
- Monitor reactions and report issues to Chemistry Manager
- Develop and document procedures; maintain records
- Support new product development and CI projects
🎯 Requirements
- PhD or equivalent in Chemistry
- 10+ years industrial or postdoc experience
- Project management and quality-lab environment experience
- Batch manufacture from <10 g to 1 kg
- Experience with contract/custom synthesis, process improvement
- Knowledge of synthetic organic synthesis and analytical techniques (TLC, HPLC, LCMS, NMR)
