Senior Software Engineer - Backend

📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate distributed backend services for cloud governance at scale.
• Develop GraphQL APIs for customers and internal teams.
• Create data pipelines for governance across many cloud accounts/regions.
• Design data stores for asset and cost info; optimize schemas and queries.
• Work with AWS services and serverless tech (Lambda, EventBridge, SNS/SQS, DynamoDB, ECS).
• Apply infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, Docker, and GitHub Actions.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years backend Python experience.
• 3+ years leading backend initiatives and mentoring engineers.
• Strong distributed, event-driven systems design with retries, idempotency, eventual consistency.
• Relational DBs, ORM (PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, Alembic) and query optimization.
• API design, preferably GraphQL.
• Hands-on AWS/serverless (Lambda, EventBridge, SNS/SQS, DynamoDB, ECS).
