📋 Description

• Lead the evaluation and implementation of new tech for Roku Pay
• Architectural discussions across teams; own key projects
• Build scalable, highly available backend platform capabilities
• Hands-on coding (~70% time) and code/design reviews
• Collaborate with product teams to drive platform improvements
• Champion platform reuse and best practices across org

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years in large-scale backend services, payments focus
• Strong payments domain knowledge: processing, tokenization, gateway
• Expert in payment flows (sync/async, online/offline)
• SOX/PCI/3DS compliance familiarity
• Experience with RFPs and evaluating vendors
• Cloud experience with AWS or GCP; multi-cloud is a plus
