Technical Engineer

📋 Description

• Provide hands-on network, RF, and telecom engineering support for FEMA CCD
• Analyze, design, test, implement, and maintain terrestrial/wireless systems.
• Configure Carrier Ethernet, Cisco routers/switches, and telecom interfaces.
• Operate and troubleshoot HF radio, satellite, VHF/UHF, Wi-Fi, and related comms.
• Install/repair RF gear, antennas, cables, and encryption devices.
• Prepare configurations, BOMs, test plans, and operator training.

🎯 Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility; DHS suitability processing.
• CCNA certification; 3-5 years in telecom/network/RF field engineering.
• Experience with routers, switches, servers, Carrier Ethernet transport.
• RF transmission-system experience; secure/non-secure comms; test gear and docs.
• U.S. citizenship; able to travel to FEMA facilities and field sites.
