Project Director, Early Phase and Translational Research (EPTR)

📋 Description

• Oversee portfolio or program of clinical studies; direct Project Managers responsible for delivery.
• Ensure studies meet therapeutic requirements, client expectations, quality standards, SOPs, GCP
• Maintain relationships with customers; communicate progress and manage expectations/deliverables.
• Oversee study contracts, budgets, expenses, forecasting, and overall performance.
• Monitor timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and KPIs using project tools.
• Maintain therapeutic and client knowledge; apply lessons across studies.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in a relevant science/professional discipline; Master’s is an advantage.
• PMP or PRINCE2 desirable.
• At least 15 years of industry experience, incl. 5+ years in a CRO environment.
• At least 10 years of clinical project management across the full lifecycle.
• Experience managing functional services, external vendors, budgets, timelines, and delivery.
• Experience with mid-size to large multinational studies (10–15+ countries).
