Electrical Engineer

📋 Description

• The Electrical Engineer owns electrical distribution design review for a data center build, from
• Act as the project’s technical conscience on the electrical system to catch safety
• Review MV/LV one-lines, equipment layouts, raceway and circuiting design from substation interface
• Verify selectivity, redundancy behavior (N+1/2N), equipment ratings, and clearances against code
• Validate short-circuit, protective device coordination, arc-flash, and load-flow studies (SKM/ETAP).
• Review major electrical submittals and witness factory acceptance tests for critical gear; ensure

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of electrical design or owner’s-side electrical review for data centers or
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; PE license preferred.
• Deep knowledge of MV/LV distribution, standby generation, UPS topologies, and critical power
• Hands-on experience validating power system studies in SKM or ETAP.
• Fluency with NEC, IEEE, and NFPA 70E arc-flash requirements; experience with RFI responses and
• Submittal and factory acceptance test experience with major electrical OEMs; commissioning exposure
