Staff Software Engineer, Core Infrastructure

📋 Description

• Design, build, deploy, and operate core Rust services for scalable storage, data transformation
• Own software end-to-end: design, implement, test, deploy, observe, on-call, and respond to
• Evolve Python-based transformation frameworks and developer tools used across the organization.
• Lead cross-functional technical initiatives with roadmaps, milestones, and architectural decisions.
• Improve system performance and cloud efficiency via query optimization, Parquet/Arrow data
• Strengthen data governance: lineage, access controls, and reliable deletion propagation across

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in professional software engineering focused on backend, distributed, infrastructure, or
• Strong production experience with Rust and Python.
• Deep understanding of storage/data tech: Amazon S3, Apache Parquet/Arrow, PostgreSQL/MySQL.
• Experience designing/operating high-throughput, low-latency services with metrics, tracing, alerts
• Strong AWS experience (S3, Lambda, ECS, Aurora) and IaC with Terraform.
• Technical leadership: project leadership, architecture/design docs, mentoring engineers.
