Software Engineer, Edge

📋 Description

• Senior software engineer on Cribl Edge team building back-end features for data collection across
• Develop and maintain data collection agents for hundreds of thousands of Edge nodes across
• Collaborate with UX designers, PMs, and engineers to translate requirements into high-performance
• Own lifecycle from design to testing and maintenance with clean, efficient code.
• Develop automated tests and test plans to ensure quality and correct features.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations and potential on-call/off-hours duties.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or similar field.
• Strong OS fundamentals: memory, CPU, filesystems, processes, networking.
• Troubleshooting and debugging skills; ability to write maintainable, testable code.
• Experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience using assertion frameworks to automate regression tests (e.g., Mocha).
