Manufacturing Engineer (NPI)

📋 Description

• Drive APQP Program Management at CM/Tier 1 sites to ensure SOP readiness and PPAP deliverables.
• Provide DFM/DFA feedback during APQP Phase 2 to enable repeatable hardware builds.
• Support SQE by validating component PPAPs from sub-tier vendors in CM assembly.
• Oversee mechanical assembly, test, and integration of sensors, compute, and actuation systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy EOL testers and calibration routines.
• Lead Process PPAP deliverables (PFMEAs, Process Flows, Control Plans, Work Instructions) with risk

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
• NPI & CM Oversight experience launching automotive/high-tech hardware at Tier 1 or Contract
• Technical ownership of launch from prototype to production-validated line.
• Advanced APQP & PPAP management; control plans, process flows, and Gage R&R; DV to PV
• Proficient with Solidworks for fixtures, pallets, and inspection jigs.
• GD&T and metrology expertise; production tolerance verification via CMM/OMM/vision systems.
