Staff Embedded Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead development activities for embedded software and supervisory state machines in medical
• Define interfaces between hardware and software; architect modular, testable software for system
• Support prototyping and integration of new PCAs and FPGA IP; leverage shared infrastructure across
• Contribute to software development for distributed multi-processor systems including video and
• Perform risk analysis and identify software mitigations in regulated environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external customers to meet requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS, EE, or CE (12+ years embedded systems experience; or 8+ with MS
• Strong C/C++ for mission-critical, embedded, real-time systems (e.g., QNX).
• Experience with TCP/IP, CAN, serialization; memory management and concurrency.
• Python or scripting for automation; familiarity with Vivado and FPGA tools.
• Preferred: servo-control systems, medical tech, CUDA, cybersecurity concepts, team-oriented
