Downstream Process Development Engineer

📋 Description

• Perform lab-scale downstream processing of vaccine adjuvant & Lipid Nanoparticle (LNP) products
• Perform assays on vaccine adjuvant & LNP products, process intermediates, and related samples
• Prepare solutions/reagents
• Set-up process equipment for lab-scale experiments
• Maintain records and experimental results following GMP

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 8+ years experience or Masters with 6+ years or PhD with 2+
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship
• Experience with adjuvant and LNP unit ops: Extrusion, Tee-mixing, MIVM, Homogenization, Filtration
• Scale-up experience for liposome/LNP formation ops
• Experience handling potent lipids (OEB4 & 5) in isolators/VBEs
• Strong computer, scientific, organizational, and communication skills
