Backend Engineer

📋 Description

• Take ownership of medium-sized features and deliver production-ready code.
• Ship continuously to trunk with small PRs and fast feedback.
• Build a Django backend serving multiple countries from one codebase.
• Integrate with Kraken platform services for billing, CRM, auth, and device control.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, and observability for live systems.
• Engage in design, code reviews, and documentation for PRs.

🎯 Requirements

• 3-4 years web app backend experience in Python, ideally Django.
• Experience with relational DBs and background tasks.
• Comfort with a large, multi-tenant codebase and shared abstractions.
• Fast-paced, continuous shipping with automated guardrails (CI, linting, type checks).
• Open to integrating modern AI tools into day-to-day development.
• High initiative and ability to slice problems into shippable work.
