V&V Engineer, Electrical

📋 Description

• V&V execution and QA for electrical systems
• Characterize vehicle electrical requirements; decompose to module and component levels
• Own electrical DVP&R; plan and execute functional/performance tests including EMC/EMI
• Troubleshoot electrical functionality and perform root-cause analysis
• Collaborate with design, systems, quality and software teams
• Communicate test results and recommendations to leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in an Electrical V&V role, automotive or heavy vehicle preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Strong understanding of automotive DV/PV, PPAP and APQP
• Experience with OEMs and Tier 1/2 suppliers
• Knowledge of environmental/EMC standards (SAE J1455, ISO 11451/11452, MIL-STD-810)
• Proficiency with test equipment and tools; CANbus, Python, Shell, Unix, SPICE
