Senior Engineering Manager, Fortary Platform

📋 Description

• Lead multiple engineering teams delivering custody, transaction authorization, key management
• Own architecture and roadmap for a distributed MPC custody platform, incl. disaster recovery
• Partner with Product, Security, BD, and execs to align tech with customer, regulatory and business
• Support multiple deployment models (managed-platform and licensed-software)
• Establish engineering practices meeting security, compliance, resilience, and governance needs
• Lead production incidents, outages, security events, and sensitive key-management scenarios

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in software engineering, 5+ years leading production-scale distributed systems
• Proven experience owning large-scale, security-critical platforms
• Deep cryptography and secure key-management expertise (MPC, threshold signatures, TEEs, HSMs)
• Cloud-native design experience (Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD, observability)
• Security/compliance awareness (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, AML/KYC) and regulated-finance context
• Experience with digital asset infra (custody, trading, staking, treasury, settlement)
