Senior Software Engineer, Payments Platform

📋 Description

• Design and build scalable systems for Airbnb's payments platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, accurate and timely payment solutions.
• Architect and implement complex features with a data-driven mindset and performance focus.
• Improve engineering processes and technical foundations across teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• 1+ years in Payments/Fintech backend engineering is a plus.
• Experience leading design, implementation and deployment of high-scale payment systems.
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s in CS or equivalent.
• Technical leadership: guiding projects, setting direction, mentoring engineers.
• Strong emphasis on efficiency, availability, quality and collaboration.
