Job Description
📋 Description
- Conduct informal science, climate, and biodiversity education programs on the museum floor.
- Deliver programs using hands-on, play-based, experiential, and guest-centered methods.
- Engage diverse guests across ages; emphasis on early childhood to young adults.
- Use live animals, data visualization, and other technologies in programs.
- Collaborate with CAS scientists and exhibit teams.
🎯 Requirements
- At least 1 year of public speaking experience.
- Coursework or background in natural/environmental science, education, or science communication.
- Fundamental knowledge of best practices in museum interpretation and climate/biodiversity education.
- Excellent public speaking and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments and work independently or in teams.
- Fluency in a second language preferred.
