- Lead a team of software and AI engineers; coach and mentor
- Own code, including deployment, testing, and evaluation of AI components
- Perform detailed code reviews on prompts, agent logic, and results
- Set quarterly goals and assist with training and recruitment
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to define scalable AI solutions
- Stay current with AI advancements and apply them to products
🎯 Requirements
- 3-5 years practical Java experience
- 1-2 years prompt engineering and prompt/agent scripting
- 1-2 years APIs with OpenAI, Anthropic, Salesforce, etc.
- Design/manage domain-specific languages, prompts, and agent frameworks
- Experience with microservices, data pipelines, and vector stores
- Proficiency in Python, Java, and JavaScript; strong ML/AI ecosystem skills
