Forward Deployed Engineer (Training)

📋 Description

• Act as the account's CTO on Baseten, designing and scaling workloads
• Translate customer objectives into shipped PoC quickly
• Design evals/benchmarks to identify quality/perf gaps
• Be first responder to mission-critical failures and triage
• Build internal tools and deployment automation for faster engagements
• Shape the product roadmap with customer feedback

🎯 Requirements

• 1-2 years software engineering in production systems
• Debug production issues via logs, metrics, traces
• Own ambiguous technical problems and triage decisions
• Desire to work with customers and influence product
• Clear communication on complex topics
• Curious about AI inference and infrastructure
