Director Accounting North America (m/f/d)

📋 Description

• You lead and manage the North America G/L Accounting team for US and Canadian entities
• You own monthly, quarterly, and annual closing under IFRS; manage audits end-to-end
• You prepare monthly P&L reports for CFO/ HQ and liaise with auditors and tax advisors
• You drive process improvements and adopt new technologies, including SAP S/4HANA implementation

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Finance/Accounting; CPA/ACCA or equivalent preferred; deep IFRS expertise; US GAAP
• Several years of leadership in accounting within international environment; ability to collaborate
• Confident with SAP or comparable ERP systems; hands-on with emerging technologies
• Strong communication skills; ability to convey complex topics to all levels
• Fluent English; German skills are an advantage
