📋 Description
- Evaluate nuclear facilities and related activities for potential impacts to health, safety, air
- Perform environmental assessments and safety evaluations for federal and state agencies.
- Work with uranium mills, in situ uranium recovery facilities, nuclear reactors, and similar
- Apply nuclear engineering and health physics expertise to analyze information, identify risks, and
- Document findings clearly for project teams, government stakeholders, and clients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining technical quality and client
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering, health physics, environmental science, or related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in nuclear engineering, health physics, environmental
- Experience evaluating nuclear facilities for environmental and safety impacts (preferably uranium
- Understanding of impacts on hydrogeology, health, safety, air quality, and environment.
- Experience with projects for federal/state agencies is valuable.
- Experience with radiation assessment or modeling tools such as RESRAD, MicroShield, and MILDOS is
