Nuclear Engineer/Health Physicist

📋 Description

• Evaluate nuclear facilities and related activities for potential impacts to health, safety, air
• Perform environmental assessments and safety evaluations for federal and state agencies.
• Work with uranium mills, in situ uranium recovery facilities, nuclear reactors, and similar
• Apply nuclear engineering and health physics expertise to analyze information, identify risks, and
• Document findings clearly for project teams, government stakeholders, and clients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining technical quality and client

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering, health physics, environmental science, or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in nuclear engineering, health physics, environmental
• Experience evaluating nuclear facilities for environmental and safety impacts (preferably uranium
• Understanding of impacts on hydrogeology, health, safety, air quality, and environment.
• Experience with projects for federal/state agencies is valuable.
• Experience with radiation assessment or modeling tools such as RESRAD, MicroShield, and MILDOS is
