Engineering Manager II, Data Platform

📋 Description

• Lead a Vietnam-based engineering team for Grab's stream processing platform (Flink).
• Scale real-time data platforms with self-service capabilities and guardrails.
• Collaborate with Kafka, data lake, governance, and product teams to ensure reliable pipelines.
• Own platform direction, delivery outcomes, and incident learning with a hands-on approach.
• Drive roadmap and engineering standards across design, testing, and security.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in software/data/platform engineering; 3+ years managing engineers.
• Experience with distributed systems, data platforms, or stream processing in production.
• Hands-on depth in Apache Flink, Spark Streaming, Kafka, or similar tech.
• Strong reliability, observability, security, and incident response practices.
• Ability to set roadmaps, prioritize, and deliver measurable outcomes through a team.
• Experience coaching engineers and building collaborative teams; strong communication with
