Senior Automation Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain Heidi's deterministic automation engine for interacting with EHRs
• Build UI-automation flows across web and desktop systems to push data into third-party software.
• Implement patient-matching and validation to ensure data lands on the correct record with safety as
• Prototype with AI-assisted tools (Claude Code, Cursor) to ship in days, then harden into
• On-site embedding with health systems during live rollouts, mapping real workflows and going live
• Engineer work queues, retries and exception handling to run automations unattended and explainable.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong ownership mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Proof of building tools, scripts or automations that solved real problems (portfolio, GitHub, demo).
• Production experience with UI automation (Playwright, FlaUI, or similar) or an RPA platform.
• Python as primary language; C# or TypeScript a bonus.
• Deterministic-systems instincts: queues, retries, idempotency, and robust error handling.
• Comfort with brittle/legacy interfaces and building reliable logic.
