📋 Description

• Build awareness regarding AbbVie and the Venture group amongst interconnected networks of
• Participate in partnering meetings and conferences to identify and evaluate potential investment
• Contribute to deal flow management (triage, log and track opportunities) for internal reporting and
• Lead the assessment and drive the evaluation process, developing recommendations and proposals for
• Assist in developing deal structure optionality, risk mitigation and negotiation strategies and
• Help drive the investment process and deal execution, including supporting the diligence team and

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree in life sciences (PhD, MD PhD) with at least 6+ yr postgraduate experience
• 3+ yr of Investment experience in early-stage life science (pre-Seed to Series B, including
• Strong understanding of drug discovery, development, regulatory, and commercialization processes
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills to evaluate opportunities and deliver timely
• Strong communication skills to convey strategies and recommendations; cross-functional
• Proactive networking to engage with industry decision makers; established biopharma network
