Senior Software Engineer - Billing Platform

📋 Description

• Own medium-sized projects end-to-end and contribute on large, multi-team initiatives.
• Build federated, distributed billing systems for meters, rates, and invoices across Snowflake
• Shape billing strategy for AI products with Cortex AI, Intelligence, and Apps.
• Use AI as a first-class collaborator via Cortex Code CLI and Snowflake Intelligence.
• Own reliability and correctness; participate in on-call and drive systemic fixes.
• Be the go-to expert for one or more billing components and mentor other engineers.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent.
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems and data pipelines.
• Strong fundamentals in databases and data modeling; SQL fluency.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, Python, or Go; scalable deployment practices.
• Ability to independently design, spec, schedule, and deliver medium-sized projects with quality.
